EasyMorph Inc Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit our site https://easymorph.com (the “Site”), use our software (the "Software") downloaded from the Site, or make a purchase on the Site or via the Software.

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT VIA WEB SITE

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically collected information as "Device Information".

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

  • "Cookies" are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org.
  • "Log files" that track actions occurring on the Site and web-requests coming from the Software (such as checks for software updates and newsfeed), and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.

BEHAVIOURAL ADVERTISING

We use your Device Information (but not Order Information or Usage Information described below) to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. ORDERS AND LICENSES

When you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site or the Software, we collect certain information from you, including your name, email address, billing address, and payment method. Additionally, we collect information about your copy of the Software (the "Signature"). We refer to this information as "Order Information".

HOW OUR SOFTWARE HANDLES THE DATA THAT YOU PROCESS

The Software is intended for data transformation and work automation. It is only installed on-premises — on computers controlled and operated by our users. The Software provides means for users to create connectors to, as well as obtain and process data from files, systems and applications that potentially can contain sensitive and/or personal information. Such systems and applications include (but not limited to) databases, web APIs, email services, cloud storages (e.g. Google Drive, Amazon S3), cloud applications (e.g. Google Sheets), and enterprise applications (e.g. MS Exchange, MS SharePoint). The Software is entirely passive and obtains data from the systems mentioned above ONLY when explicitly configured by a user to do so. The Software DOES NOT connect to systems and applications, load data from them, or import files UNLESS a user configured it to do so and explicitly triggered it to perform configured actions. The Software never extracts data other than indicated by a user, or performs any actions with it other than explicitly configured by a user. No data or metadata obtained by the Software from files, systems and applications is sent to EasyMorph Inc or anyone else.

HOW OUR SOFTWARE HANDLES GOOGLE API SERVICES USER DATA

EasyMorph's use and transfer of any data it receives from Google APIs adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy and the Limited Use requirements.

EasyMorph is entirely passive and obtains your Google Drive or Google Sheets data ONLY when explicitly configured by a user to do so. EasyMorph DOES NOT interact with Google Services and DOES NOT load or modify your Google account data UNLESS you configured it to do so, and explicitly triggered it to perform the configured action(s). EasyMorph never extracts data other than that indicated by a user, or performs any actions with it other than that are explicitly configured by a user. No data is obtained by EasyMorph from your Google account and no data that is aggregated or derived from the obtained data is sent to EasyMorph Inc. or anyone else.

UPDATE CHECKS

EasyMorph Desktop, one of our software products, checks for updates when launched for the first time during a day by fetching a small XML file located on our website at https://easymorph.com/download/EasyMorph.Version.xml. We extract such requests from our website log files and collect information about IP addresses and timestamps of the requests. We refer to this information as "Usage Information". The collected information is used solely for internal purposes and is never shared with a 3rd party. You can disable update checks entirely in menu About of EasyMorph Desktop.

DEBUG LOGS

EasyMorph generates debug logs that can contain metadata such as table or column names, but never actual data or credentials. EasyMorph never collects debug logs automatically. If we investigate a support case we sometimes may ask you to send us this information. You can always review it before sending to us. The location of debug logs is as follows:

  • EasyMorph Desktop — C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\EasyMorph\Debug Logs
  • EasyMorph Server — C:\ProgramData\EasyMorph Server\Logs\Debug log

Debug logs older than 14 days are deleted automatically when EasyMorph Desktop starts.
